ADVANCED PLACEMENT LANGUAGE & COMPOSITION OUR EXAM IS WEDNESDAY, MAY 11! I am at home awaiting the arrival of our little boy. I am still available by email (richmondls@rss.k12.nc.us). Please feel free to contact me! Welcome to AP! Welcome to Advanced Placement Language and Composition. Students will partake in a writing-intensive course to prepare for the AP exam in May. Students who take this course often come back their senior year and even their freshman year of college to report that they are still using the skills they gained while writing and reading in AP English Language. We will be communicating with a classroom in France this semester. As we communicate with the students, we will also prepare Digital Stories and documentaries to share with them. Be sure to keep the syllabus handy as due dates are not optional. Due dates and other information are subject to change based on the needs and movement of the class. What we'll be reading this semester: Blood Done Sign My Name The Things they Carried The Hot Zone and more... Sign up to be notified. Enter your email address and receive notices when the AP English Language page is updated. UPDATES: * Our AP Exam is May 11. * After our exam, students will be preparing and presenting their graduation project presentations. They will be filmed. * I am expecting a baby in May. I will work with students to finish out the semester! |
