Hello and welcome to my schoolnotes.com web page. I am Mrs. Helman, the Assistant Principal at Silver Palms Elementary.

 I graduated from the University of Miami with a Masters Degree in Education with a specialization in Counseling and Guidance.  Go Canes!!

I am married and have two grown daughters. When my daughters were in High School I went back to school to add Educational Leadership to my certification. I took classes at Florida Atlantic University (FAU).
As the Assistant Principal of "sensational Silver Palms" I work closely with the Principal, Mrs. Walker. We work together to create a safe learning environment for you.
Sometimes you will see us visiting classrooms. We might stop and ask you what you are learning about. Be ready!
You will see us on the school's morning news, WSPN. We will be sharing important events and information.
 Be sure to read the school's newsletter, for upcoming events.  We will look for you at the school's family nights!  Please stop us and introduce yourself if you are new to Silver Palms. We enjoy getting to know our families and welcome parent involvement at our school!
