Welcome to 2012~ I hope everyone has had rest and is ready to get back into the swing of things. We have a lot of things to cover before the end of the 2nd quarter is through in January. BOOK-IT book totals: JANUARY~8 books FEBRUARY~10 books MARCH~10 books REMINDER: School starts at 8:00 and ends at 2:45. It is very important for each student to be on time and be at school throughout the entire school day. If you have any questions, please remember there are several ways to reach Ms. Hood: email, agenda, and by phone to NRES.! Homework is an important part of your child's learning process. These assignments are review of skills covered in class. Please help your second grader begin to show responsibility towards his/her work. HOMEWORK: Each night we have an assignment in spelling, reading and math for homework. This should only take about 30-45 minutes. It is very important that we all work together to reach the goals. PLEASE help your second grader by signing his/her reading log each night. Homework for Mondays that we do not have school will be given on the previous Friday to ensure everyone has their spelling words.Your child is responsible for copying the words from the chart and/or board each Monday morning.
