Are you ready for a field trip? On February 26th, the KrausBerg team will travel to the Bodies and Titanic exhibits at the Luxor. Permissions and money should be turned in by January 29th. The cold and flu season continues and Kleenex would be appreciated. *** Ecybermission presentations are complete. Students will receive feedback on their mission folder, make changes, and then submit the folder. Good luck!*** Students may stay after school on Tuesday, February 9th to work with statistic poster members. If you have math questions, you may also stay after school and work on your skills. Pre-Algebra Objectives find perimeter, area, and construct figures Homework **Daily practice and review is essential.** The statistics poster is due 2/17. Students may be able to use data collected during science options, create a survey, or research data on a specific topic. The poster may need to be completed at home. Class time will be utilized for collecting data and constructing graphs. 2/5 - Quiz Monday on transformations 2/8 - HW p 519, 22-23, bring an empty box for an activity on Thursday 2/9 - HW p 525, 19-24 2/10 - HW p 534 SHOW ALL WORK 2/11 - HW p 542, 15-17 Science Objectives explain that heredity isthe passage of genetic instructions from one generation to another explain how some patterns of inheritance can be explained by pairs of genes that separate when sex cells are formed explain that one or more genes contain the information for various characteristics or traits Activities We will be completing introductory heredity and genetics labs. There will be a checklist of activities distributed this week. There is a quiz on Friday. |
