SPELLING: 

Weekly Spelling Homework:

MONDAY:  Students will sort the words for the week based on the pattern or rule that they are learning.

TUESDAY:  Students will list 10 new words in their Spelling journal that fit the pattern/rule from our spelling list.

WEDNESDAY:  Students will use 10 words in fifth grade sentences and underline all words that fit the pattern/rule.  They may use words from our list or ones they have found on their own.

THURSDAY:  Students will be given 5 words in their journal and they will have to explain why 3 of them fit the pattern/rule we have learned this week.

Practice facts every night for at least 10 minutes!!
Math logs will be checked at the end of each week.
