We have had a great beginnning in second grade. Thank you for all the supplies and money that was donated to help us have a great year. Please checky your child's backpack everyday for homework sheets or notes. Students should read for at least 15 minutes every night. They have a homework reading passage to read for one minute, their weekly story, and a library book. Students are rewarded for every 10 AR tests that they pass. Encourage your child to read his/her library book and take a test on it the next day. We will have a timed addition drill every Tuesday and Thursday. Please practice addition facts with your child at home by using addition flashcards. The weekly calendar gives information about tests for this week and upcoming events. You will find it in the "keep" pocket of your child's folder. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me by note, email, or phone. My planning time is 1:00 p.m. every day. Thank you, Mrs. Tittle |
