This week we will have our usual homework. Please do make sure that your child is reading every day for at least 15 minutes.  Research shows that this really does make a difference.  Additionally please have your second grader write in his/her life journal three times during the week.

     We are working on being kind and supportive to each of our classmates.  I will be asking the children to report on acts of kindness and friendship to me as we continue to discuss what this looks and sounds like. 

     Our field trip to "Grossology" is coming up on March 5th.  I will also be scheduling our late winter visit to the Nature Trail.
