Im sorry for not updating my school notes but we have been really busy in the band department.

Congratulations to the Festival Band, They traveled to Lake Charles to participate in the LMEA Large Ensemble Assessment and recieves ratings of Excellence in Stage performance and Superior in Sightreading.  They enjoyed CiCi's for lunch and a 2 1/2 hour visit to the beach. They played sand football, soccer, played in the water and sand vollyball. WAY TO GO MILTON!!!!! 

The sixth grade band traveled to Erath High School to participate in a pre-festival training program. They recieved excellent ratings and comments about the mature sound of their group as well as being a good looking well disclplined band. They enjoyed lunch in the park in Erath where they climbed trees, played on the playground equipment, played football and just hung out together. EXCELLENT JOB !!!!!!!

This year's concert will again be held at OUR SAVIORS CHURCH located on E. Broussard Road. The concert is set for May 15. The performance will begin at 6:00 p.m. with the chorus and the band will follow 10 minutes after they are finish. All band students should be at the church by 6:30 p.m. Information regarding dress code etc.... will be sent home after LEAP testing and will be posted on school notes as well.
