11/9 - Start on notes for genetic engineering.  Selective breeding and test crosses.  Show video on clones and have students come up with opinion papers on whether medical or reproductive cloning should be allowed.

11/10 - Go over tests chapter 12.  Notes on genetic engineering and gel electrophoresis.  Look at DNA fingerprints.  Go over opinion papers.  Homework - DNA worksheet.

11/11 - Veteran's Day - Happy Holiday!

11/12 - Crime scene investigation in class.  Have students figure out the sources of DNA and how to get a match on a criminals DNA.  Human Genome video.  Have students write a paper on the importance of mapping the humane genome.

11/13 - Review - chapter 13 test  and Vocabulary chapter 14 - 16 for homework,
