Things needed for Biology:  Three ring binder, filler paper, pens, pencils and $10.00 lab fee.  The lab fee will be collected through the first month of classes. 

Parents:  I sent out a letter On Thursday 2/18 in regards to which students are struggling with Biology.  Please talk to your children and ask if they received this letter.

**REMEMBER THAT YOU MUST SCORE AN 80 (3) ON THE EOC TO GET CREDIT FOR THE CLASS.  THIS IS AN EXIT STANDARD AND YOU HAVE TO PASS IT TO GRADUATE!!!

3/8/2010 - 2nd and 3rd blocks quiz on photosynthesis and ATP.  Notes and discussion ob cellular respiration and it's purpose.  Homework:  Draw out the processes for cellular respiration.
3/9/2010 - 4th block - quiz - photosynthesis and ATP.  All classes compare and contrast chart on cellular respiration and photosynthesis.  Introduction to fermentation.  What it is and why it is important. 
3/10/2010 - Finish up unit on energy processes.  Review in class for test.  Homework:  Review for test tomorrow.
3/11/2010 - Test energy processes.  Vocabulary after the test chapter 11 DNA.
3/12/2010 - Introduction to DNA and it's structure and function.  Homework: read chapter 11
