 Dear Parents,

We are down to 14 days of school left.  Thanks for getting all of your enrollment forms in!

You all have made this a wonderful Teacher Appreication Week.  I loved all of the cards and we all enjoyed me reading them to the class today.

Please, please check your child's cafeteria balance.  There are letters going home everyday.  Starting today they are not letting anyone charge and they will give them a cheese sandwich and milk.  This is very hard for the kiddos to understand and breaks my heart too, so if you could check to make sure that you have plenty of money on their account.

Also the Fine Arts calendar is off in the folders.  I am trying to write in what we have next but just do the CLAPMTP to figure it out if I missed one.

Tiny Tidbits...

Snack:  Please remember to send a SMALL snack each day.  We eat lunch so early that the kiddos are hungry in the afternoons.    Thanks for your help with this!

- This week we will talk about Spiders!

The following week will be our Ocean unit and then we will end with Camp Kindergarten.

Please have your child practice the  following skills:

    • Writing his/her first name the "Kindergarten" way.  The "Kindergarten" way is writing their name with the first letter capital and the rest of the letters are lowercase. 
    • Using the correct pencil grip. 
    • Practice producing the letter sounds.
    • Practice souding out words.
    • Practice recognizing the color words.
    • Practice rhyming words.
    • Producing neat work.

So if you know where you child went the day before this acronym will help you figure out where he/she goes today.  Remember our fine arts time is 12:10-1:00 everyday.
