We will begin working on the textbook this week, this is our main focus for the second quarter. Students will be given worksheets with the definitions of fiction, non-fiction, drama, and poetry terms. These are to be kept in their L.A. binders. Each selection will include vocabulary worksheets, in class note-taking, and group discussions.

     *We will still be working with our reading journals on Monday and Fridays, SSR days. Students are asked to do a response to a writing prompt, which must be done in their journals, in class.
