In Fundations we will complete Topic 8, a unit on blends. In math Topics 7,8 and 11 will cover continued work on addition and subtraction, measurement and geometry, as well as introducing fractions.  We will do a unit on shadows and the suns apparent movement across the sky. We will learn about dental health with our student teacher, Miss Drumm. She will gradually transition into teaching the whole day in our classroom until the end of April. We will learn about George Washington and Abraham Lincoln. Valentines will be exchanged on Feb. 14th. Please remind your child to listen and be responsible and respectful toward others.
