Major objectives: Slope (given a line, given 2 points, steepness, change in x and y), Graph linear equations (slope-intercept method, intercept method), Write equations given a point and the slope

Week of November 17:

For personal reasons I have to be out of school this week.  Students will be given worksheets to help them review and study important algebra skills.  We will be testing on Chapter 6 after the Thanksgiving holiday.

Major objectives:  Review Chapter 6 and other algebra skills

Assignments:

Monday:  #32 Worksheet (1-6) to review graphing lines written in point-slope form, #33 Worksheet (1-27) to review skills for writing equations of lines

Tuesday:  #34 Worksheet (1-25) Mixed review Chapter 5 - this includes skills studied in chapters 1-5

Wednesday:  #35  Worksheet (1-12) find the midpoint of a line segment given the endpoints, #36 Worksheet to Review Chapter 6, included is a commentary sheet which explains the concepts for each problem.

Thursday:  #37  Worksheet Mixed Review Chapter 6 - this includes skills studied in chapter 1-6

Friday:  #38 Worksheet (1-12) this is like worksheet 31, in which students are given minimal information about a line and they are to supply the rest of the information.
