Students were given a sheet with the requirements for this project and are reminded daily of what should be accomplished. Science: This week we have discussed different space concepts. We have focused on studying the sun, and learned about the Hubble telescope in "Time for Kids". ELA (ENGLISH/LANGUAGE ARTS): We have started a new genre unit with the focus on the theme of making a choice. Students have been working on writing a paper with the theme of making a choice. We have also been working on writing personification poems, and we will then focus on writing a story with several examples of personfication. Next week we will begin the book Katie's Trunk. Improving Grades on Assignments/Test: Students are welcome to fix/correct assignments/tests that they receive a D+ or lower. I am available at 2nd recess to help students with these corrections.
