~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ HOMEWORK: Remember, if we go over answers to homework together, you cannot get credit for turning in that assignment late; if the class gives you the answers, you can't get credit for doing the work! 11-2 decide which station from your yellow Egypt packet was about the most important thing the Egyptians did, and put a star next to it. We will use this in a writing assignment in class tomorrow. 11-3 Finish classwork (select 3 pieces of work for your portfolio - 1 of your "best," one "not-so-good," and one "challenging" assignment) ***Remember to go to the computer lab on Wednesday for class, and go to the Media Center on Thursday to do research! 11-4 organize loose papers in the correct sections of your binder (but don't thow them away!) 11-5 Be prepared to add the information you found to a poster with your group. Make sure your information makes sense, and think about a picture you will draw to go with it. 11-6 Be prepared to present the poster about Greece or Rome with your group
***Activity busses are available on Wednesdays and Thursdays (leaving school at 4:05 pm) for students who wish to take advantage of a club or tutoring opportunity. Ms. Jones sponsors Green Club, which meets on Wednesdays. Ms. Peaco, Ms. Sutherland, and Ms. Shores offer tutoring on Wednesdays. Ms. Jones is available for Social Studies help (and Ms. Emrick is here for math) on Thursdays.
