Monday We watched part of the To Kill a Mockingbird movie and wrote a reaction to it, commenting on the plot, characters, and setting.
We read chapter 9 and students need to finish chapter 9 questions for homework.
Tuesday
We read Chapters 10 and 11 in class. Students need to read chapter 12 for homework.
Test on chapters 1-10 on Wednesday!!!!

Memoir narrative due today!! We went to the media and examined the various resources there. No homework!!!

Thursday Write a paragraph using 10 vocabulary words from unit 6. Do test corrections for the Odyssey Test Finish Blue Diamond 1-3 tests
Read Kipling and I on pg 319 and questions 1-5 that follow the story.

Week of February 23 Monday We completed the chart for vocabulary unit #5 We watched the second part of the Odyssey video. There is no homework. Tuesday Completed reading part 4 and viewed part of the video. Test on Odyssey on Thursday.
Wednesday Discussed parts 3 and 4 of the Odyssey. Viewed the final episode of the video Odysssey test tomorrow. Thursday Reviewed for the Odyssey test Students took the Odyssey test Worked on letter from Odysseus to Penelople Worked on Odyssey poster ....both due at end of class Friday. HW....study for vocabulary test #5 Friday, Feb. 27 Took Vocabulary Test #5 Worked on letter to Penelope and Odyssey poster. I have given students an extension until Monday to turn in these assignments without penalty. Have a great weekend!!!
