WHAT'S GOING ON IN ROOM 2? Parents, I hope this site will help you have a better idea of what we are doing subject by subject. I will list homework at the beginning of the week, but check your child's planner as the homework plans I make can change based on what we accomplish daily.  During the week of February 8-12, 2010 WE WILL BE LEARNING ABOUT- Science- Scientific Method Social Studies- Chap. 4- The First Europeans in Missouri Math-dividing 2-digit by 1-digit numbers, mixed numbers and improper fractions Reading- Boss of the Plains- the Hat That Won the West - partners will design a useful hat for the 21st Century, and write a persuasive letter to try to get a company to manufacture it. Spelling- List 18- review of Lists 13 through 17 HOMEWORK (This is always subject to chance based on what we accomplish each day in class) MONDAY Read for 15 minutes- record in log Math- F 76B, HW 76 Spelling- Pretest over review words today- write missed words 5x each. Study Island- bring a snack TUESDAY Read for 15 minutes- record in log Math-Fact 77B, HW 77 Spelling- Review Masters A and B-TEST TOMORROW WEDNESDAY Read for 15 minutes- record in log Math- Fact 78B and HW 78 Spelling- Final test TODAY over review words THURSDAY Read for 15 minutes- record in log one time over the weekend Math- none Spelling- none FRIDAY NO SCHOOL AND Have a Great Weekend!                  |
