Your child will be bringing home many things tonight:

  •    The verb packet assigned Tuesday and Wednesday must be completed tonight.
  •    Report Card, the change in grading policy, and our letter outlining what you might do to support your child academically.
  •  3rd Grade Homework Calendar for Possible Inclement Weather Days.

Your child will have the texts and materials needed to complete a variety of assignments listed on the calendar for each day we are out of school next week.  They MUST finish each of the daily assignments as long as school is NOT in session.  In spite of the fact we sent home a letter outlining assignments for Tuesday and Wednesday of this week AND posted those assignments on SchoolNotes, a majority of students failed to complete their work.  It is SO important that we have your support in reviewing and ensuring your child has completed any and ALL assignments during inclement weather days.

The Rockledge Auction has been postponed until a further date.  We appreciate those of you who have already made a monetary contribution to the Auction.  Just a reminder that $5 is the suggested amount even though any amount is appreciated.  This Auction is a fantastic fund-raising event for our school!

Friday, February 5, 2010-

Students should follow the 5 day calendar for homework activities provided Thursday afternoon.  The individual landforms were not yet assigned because so many students were absent today.  They may review landforms  in general on the internet over these days, but we will assign individual landforms when they return following the "big thaw"...... The deadline for my class may be extended if needed.

Please require your child to complete all other activities for each day they are out and to have those assignments ready for the day they return. Stay safe and my best to all!
