Math

We will begin the year with place value, money, and rounding.  A study guide will be sent home several days before the test and the date of the test will be recorded in your child's agenda.

Standards In Chapter #1

• Read, write, and represent whole numbers using symbols, words, and models.
• Express whole numbers in expanded form.
• Identify the place value of a digit in a number.
• Determine the approximate sum and difference of 2 numbers.
• Compare the value of sets of mixed currency.
• Determine the change from $100.
