Hi, I'm Perry Bradshaw, guidance counselor here at Knollwood Elementary. Knollwood is a wonderful place to serve the children of Rowan County. Much of my responsibility is to teach the Standard Course of Study curriculum for "Character Education." August is Self-Discipline, September is Responsibility month, October is Respect, November we march into Patriotism,  December is a good look at Kindness/Compassion, January the journey is with Courage, February takes on Good Judgement,  March is Integrity/Honesty month and I finish with Preseverance in April just before EOG's in May. While I'm occupied with EOG's, other classes are featuring Cooperation for May and Fairness for June (a great bonus). We all have great fun, while learning what's important for success!

I do counseling as needed, small group and individual. I'm the school's 504 contact person, School Test Coordinator, Homeless contact, RTI member, A and A/B Honor Roll plus Perfect Attendance data collector, United Way contact, ADD & ADHD contact, 5th grade boys Family Life presenter, "Career Day" coordinator, plus a few other things.
