Greetings Families!

I just wanted to let you know that most 8th graders have Pacific Northwest History HW this week-end. 
They have a small worksheet packet 'THEN AND NOW' that most will need some help with on the last page.  It requires some thinking and by their own admission - they don't really want to do that!!!!!  Conversation with an adult will help!

They also have to complete their Ch. 7 review questions (p. 127 in their text, 1-20 - full sentences - or write out the questions and answer in short answer form).  This assignment can be used on the Ch. 7 Final on Thursday - that is why they MUST have complete responses.

BOTH of these assignments are due at the beginning of class on Monday.  Students WILL lose points for incomplete work.

Students who are going to Science Olympiad tomorrow will have time between events to do HW; they can also work on the ferry ride.  Only 6 students turned in their 'THEN AND NOW' packet before they left on Friday - so please feel free to ask to see any work that they claim is done. 

Review questions should be in their PNWH  notebooks - have a look at the kind of work your student is doing before the notebook has to come back to school on Monday!  If your student does not have their notebook - please have them complete the questions on loose leaf paper - we can attach the work to their notebooks in the right place.
