They will be given to children as their parents attend Greenville's Project Homeless Connect (a one-day event providing services to the homeless). SGA will sell orange crush sodas during all lunches this week for a $1 to send to your crush! **EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION- applications are available from Student Services or in Room 615. **SPRING PLAY- will have a cast meeting on Friday, 2/10, after school in the Drama Room. **CAP AND GOWN ORDERS- Deadline is March 15. Please come by the office for an order form. The cost is $65 for cap, gown and tassel. Please remember that the color and style are different this year so you can't borrow one from a past graduate. **BLOOD DRIVE- will be held on Valentine's Day. Sign up in the cafeteria this week. **TAR HEEL GIRLS'/BOYS' STATE- applications are available from Mrs. Fuqua in Student Services. This is a week-long summer enrichment opportunity for JUNIORS. www.thgs.com or www.ncboysstate.org **WANT TO BE A NURSE?- Are you a senior with at least a 3.0 GPA? See Mrs. Byrne in Room 113 if you are interested in the ECU School of Nursing and their RIBN Program. **RED RIBBON DAY- is Friday, 2/10! Ribbons will be sold in the Cafeteria on Wed and Thur for $1. Wear the Ribbon on Friday with your favorite pair of JEANS! **TRACK- all athletes participating in Spring Track need to meet after school on Thursday, 2/9. Math Club provides free tutoring for any math class. Come by Room 206 to sign up for a tutor! **PARKING- Do NOT drive in the Bus Parking Lot after school until ALL the buses have left campus. To do so is illegal, it's passing a stopped school bus. **TWILIGHT-- All students enrolled in Twilight Academy must report to the Media Center by 3:45 Be sure to bring paper and pencils. **STUDY BUDDIES WANTS YOU! Come down to Room 214 during your lunch! Tutors are available at all lunches, Monday thruough Friday. If you would like a specific tutor, come by 214 to sign up. **BIBLE CLUB-- meets every Wednesday at 7:45 am in the Lecture Hall. All students are welcome. **CELL PHONES-- For phones taken during the school day-- please NOTE: the phones are placed in the vault for security during the school day. Students and parents should be advised that phones will only be released to parents (with signature) between 3:35pm-4:00pm M-F. Location for pick up is either the front office or the Choice room. **SGA meetings are held on the last Friday of each month in the Lecture Hall at 7:30. Students can attend these hours in Room 122. For every class period the student is over they need to make up 2 hours. Students can also do make-up hours with teachers when available. Teachers will document the time and get it to Mrs. Micheletto for credit. |
