Many good things are taking place at Knox. Our Athletic Boosters are in the process of helping us to install a weight room, which will greatly benefit our school. Along with the Athletic Boosters, our Band Boosters and PTA are working diligently to support us to meet our students' and school needs.

We had a very good turn out for our 1st Nine Weeks Report Card pick-up night. I strongly encourage parents to call their children's teachers if they have any questions or concerns about their child's classroom performance. Also, our ESOL class hosted a parent night on November 10, which was very well attended. Many thanks to Mrs. Beverly McCraw for organizing this wonderful event.

It truly has been a pleasure to see the supportive actions on part of our parents. It has been equally rewarding to see the collaborative, teamwork approach that our teachers are using to ensure our students' success. What I find most gratifying, however, is the engaging, student centered communication that is evident within our school community. It is this student centered relationship among all stakeholders that furthers student achievement.
