MIDDLEBROOK OBSERVATORY

(Located on the grounds of Middlebrook School in Trumbull, CT)

 Public Observations ~   The monthly observing session for September took place on Friday, 25th.  It was a great night of viewing, which was well attended. Guests were treated to fantasitic views of Jupiter, the moon, the galaxy Andromeda (M31), as well as the Ring Nebula (M57). 

The next public observing session will be Friday evening, November 6th, at 7PM.  We will look at objects of  interest in the fall sky.

Middlebrook Explorers

The 4th and 5th grades met at the observatory Monday evening, Oct. 26th, to view the moon.  In addition, the 5th grade took some great photographs of the moon with each student getting a photgraph. 

The next observation session for the 4th and 5th grade will be Monday, Novemeber 16th, to view interesting objects in the night sky.

4th Grade meets at 6PM

5th Grade meets at 7PM

Check for cloudy/rainy conditions before venturing out to the observatory.  This will postpone our session.
