MIDDLEBROOK OBSERVATORY (Located on the grounds of Middlebrook School in Trumbull, CT) Public Observations ~ The monthly observing session for November took place on Friday, 6th. It was a great night of viewing, which was well attended. Guests were treated to fantasitic views of Jupiter, the galaxy Andromeda (M31), the Ring Nebula (M57), as well as the Dumbell Nebula (M27). The next public observing session will be In December with a date and time to be annoinced. ~~~~~~ Keep an eye on this webpage for other special observing sessions, which may occur. ~~~~~~ Middlebrook Explorers The next observation session for the 4th and 5th grade will be Monday, Novemeber 16th, to view interesting objects in the night sky. 4th Grade meets at 6PM 5th Grade meets at 7PM Check for cloudy/rainy conditions before venturing out to the observatory. This will postpone our session. *** NOTE*** Would you like to book an observing session at the observatory? There is no charge associated.
