 Directors Notes

 Hello Again,

   The halftime/competition show is almost finished and so far the students have worked extremely hard and is producing a wonderful product. We hope you enjoy the show particularly the Hip- Hop dance at the very end.

This Weeks Events-

Event info for

 Friday Sept. 18 and Saturday Sept.19

Friday Sept 19

Event; Game- Home

Meet: 5:30 P.M. (We will have a quick rehearsal of show)

Wear:  Band T-Shirt and Shorts

Other info:

We will be cleaning the stadium after the game: Every band member is required to stay and help.

Saturday Sept. 19

Event: Rowan County Preview of Bands

Meet: 2 P.M. (We will rehearse for about 2 hours)

Please be on time. This is required for everyone.

Mass Band Rehearsal: 5 P.M.

Event begins: 6 P.M.

Admission: $5 per person (benefits all of the Rowan Bands)

Wear: T-Shirts and Shorts

Other info

• We will again be cleaning the stadium. All members must stay and help.
• Everyone must watch all band performances.
• We will sit as a group.
• Bring money for food.

Practices When School Begins

During the regular school year we practice twice a week.

Tuesday and Thursday afternoons – 3-5:30 P.M.

These are required so please arrange schedules

I can work with individuals on a few conflicts. Please contact me with scheduling issues

Please keep in mind that missing a day could result in a loss of position or field spot.

 I do want everyone to be apart of this great organization. However, students with chronic absences will not be allowed to participate.
