I will check these logs each day to see if your child is completing this very important assignment. Please encourage your child as he or she improves reading skills this year. Social Studies We are studying geography. We are learning the difference between maps and globes. We will study landforms, regions, and changes people make to our environment. Writing We will continue to learn to write cursive letters. We will practice each of the lower cased letters, then we will practice each of the upper cased letters. Please encourage your child as he or she learns this new skill. We are also learning how to get ideas for writing a personal narrative and learning how to write a good topic sentence. Please let me know if I can help in anyway! |
