Each Sections Specification:
Cover: This is the first thing that people see, so make it attractive. Remember this is an advertisement; you want people to go there. It must have a picture, title, quote or some sort of saying. Your name, and class should be on the back of the brochure, as the creator.
One Section: Will contain a price breakdown for a trip to Washington D.C. This breakdown will include, hotel accommodations and meals. (be creative, where would you like to stay or go to eat)
One Section: This section of your brochure must contain a scientific explanation of a point of interest in any location in Washington D.C. Examples of such points of interest would be one of the Eternal Flames, any of the displays at any of the Smithsonian Institutes such as the replica of the Viking Lander in the Aeronautics Museum or any other point of interest that you may be interested in. Information that must be in the section of the brochure should include What the point of interest is and where it can be found in D.C.? What is its historical significance? Who was responsible for creating it? How does/did it work, what is the science behind it?
One Section: Write a brief history of Washington, D. C.. Make sure to answer all of these questions: How did D.C. get its name? Why is it located where it is locate? Why is it not part of any state? What is important about our nation’s capital? Describe and name a place in our nation’s capital that is important, and you think that every American should see?
One Section: A point of interest with details, that you may want to see, or have seen, a Museum or memorial. (can advertise more than one location or point of interest) | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||
