Tantasqua Regional Junior High School School Year 2011-2012
Welcome To Mr. Cofsky's Web Page Blue Team (7th) Orange Team (8th) Blorange!!!
welcome back to school!
Welcome Students! I hope your year goes well. The key to being successful in this class as well as any other class, starts with bringing a positive attitude and a good work ethic to class every day. In addition, good students (and you can be one of them!) do the following simple things on a regular basis:
1. Set Goals: Goals keep students focused on what’s important and what’s not. Setting goals is the foundation of responsible behavior and success in school.
2. Meet Obligations: Responsible people meet their obligations. Whether it’s completing homework assignments on time or having a report on the boss’s desk when it’s needed. Your school work is your job. Get it done! Make no excuses!
3. Study Regularly: Learning any subject is like building a brick wall – You do it steadily, one step at a time. The process might not always be fun but when it’s done, you get a feeling of accomplishment that nobody can give you because it took your time, effort, and energy to complete the project. Do your homework, keep good notes, and review them often. Be proud of the work you do!!
Progress Reports will be sent home the week of October 14th
Report Cards will be sent home on Monday, November 15th
Parent Conferences are on Thursday, November 17th
2:30 to 4:30 pm and 6:00 to 8:00 pm
Student Recognition
The Blue and Orange team recognize two students each month who exemplify what it means to be a Tantasqua student. They have worked to the very best of their abilities and have demonstrated growth, both personally and acedemically.
