Hello Students,

I hope that you are doing well and having a great week!  I wanted to remind you about our part in helping with Operation Christmas Child.
This is a program that packs up shoe boxes filled with fun and needed things that poor children worldwide will receive.  Last year we reached 103 boxes!  (That was the highest number ever!)  This year our new goal is 110 boxes.  We can totally do this!

Things to include:
*toys                             *hard candy                 *necessity items
           *school supplies                      *clothes

Things to avoid:
*glass                  *chocolate                                    *used items
             *liquid                        *war themed things

You can drop off items in the box outside of the office from Wednesday, October 29 - Friday, November, 6.  I hope that you have fun doing this.  Not only will these kids enjoy the presents but they are going to know that they are loved and valued.
Remember that one shoe box has the potential to change a life forever!

If you have any questions, please e-mail me.  Have a great week and I will see you in class.

Miss Devenney

Ps. Remember to SHOP THE SALES!!
