Welcome to Civics and Economics. The spring semester has finally arrived! Your student should have brought home my rules and syllabus and should have looked over with you. If you did not see either, let me know and I can get you a copy. The first unit we are going to cover deals with immigration. Not only how this country started, but also about how things work today. Also we are going to look at rights, duties, and responsibilities of an American citizen. On Friday we will be finishing up our country projects. Students were to go home and find out if they could, what country their ancestry came from. They are going to give a brief presentation about that country, and bring in a dish. This project will show the diversity of our classroom. |
