In-class essay will be postponed till next Friday, April 3. Reason being, Mr. Opperud needed class-time with 7th grade for setting them up on our new Mac-Books. Students will be using technology on OUR NEW SCHOOL LAP TOPS to work on their Seder Meal projects. This will also give me more time to guide student work in deconstructing poetry and essay writing. Identifying rhetorical devices, tone, mood, and meaning in poetry is a 6th and 7th grade standard and the students seem to be grasping these advance concepts quite well. I have a two day, very exciting lesson planned next week. On Monday, March 3 Young Author's Faire books are due in to me for another round of editing. Students should plan on having the artwork nearly finished. Students DO NOT need to have it bound until the weekend of April 3rd. The books are due April 8th.
