The second 6 weeks is moving right along. We have completed our Non-fiction unit and are jumping into our Fantasy/SciFi section. The classes have begun the book Tuck Everlasting. Ask your student about the book. The students should also be reading an AR book of their choice. The AR deadline for this grading period is Oct. 22. They each have a certain goal to meet by then--question your student to make sure they are keeping up with their reading. Assignments 10/12-16/09 Monday--Review Fantasy voc. chart; read AR Tuesday--Continue work on crossword puzzle/answer key begun in class--due Thurs., October 15; read AR Wednesday--Crossword puzzle/answer key due tomorrow; read AR Thursday--"Pairing Up" Analogy Sheet--complete; review Fantasy vocab. for crossword puzzle tomorrow; read AR**Last football game of the season vs. Acadian Middle--Go Cardinals!!!
