This week in Miss Gupta's class:

The next two months we will be n the computer lab on Monday's and Tuesday's  to learn about technology in the classroom and the real world.  I am so excited to teach about different thing like blogging, the internet, e-mail and other exciting topics.
In Math, the students are learning about the order of operations, integers and graphing in real life issues. The students are also learning about equations. The eighth graders are using the graphic calculators and becoming familiar with them.

In Language Arts, the students are working on grammar. After Thanksgiving break the students will be reading Seedfolks. This book is about diversity and people accepting their differences.

The sixth grade is continuing their knowledge of Rome and Greece. In seventh grade SS we are studying about Africa and how it relates to the USA and NC. And in eighth grade, the students are continuing their studies of NC.

In Science, the students are learning about measurement, temperature and weather patterns.
