Welcome To Mrs. Huffman's Kindergarten

1. It is hard to believe that we have been in school for three weeks. There is so much for kindergarten children to learn and they are doing a great job. One of the biggest accomplishments is learning their cafeteria number! Knowing that number allows the serving line at breakfast and lunch to go smoothly.
2. We have been learning colors, shapes, numbers zero to five, and color words.
3. Learning rules and how to be good citizens has been our focus in social studies.
4. Writing workshop is always a new challenge for kindergarten. The children are learning how to draw a picture to represent an idea and then write about what they have drawn.
