Mrs. Benejan's Homework Week of August 29, 2011 Complete a math worksheet, read to your parent, and record your reading in the reading log daily. Spelling homework changes daily. See below for daily homework assignments. This week's spelling words are: bag, cap, ham, bake, ate, mad, back, cape, made, rake; review words: fog, tug; high frequency words: different, number, other. Vocabulary words for this week: flames, forest, heat, safe, tell, brave, escape, glow, prevent, surround, and disaster. Monday, August 29th, Day 8 PE, 1. Complete spelling make words activity per spelling worksheet. 2. Complete math worksheet Lesson 2-5 Thinking Addition to 18 to Subtract. 3. Read with an adult and record in reading log. Tuesday, August 30th, Day 1, PE1. Complete spelling make words activity and write words per spelling worksheet.2. Complete math worksheet Lesson 2-6 Making Ten to Subtract. 3. Read with an adult and record in reading log. Wednesday, August 31st, Day 2 , ART 1. Select 5 words from spelling word list and write a 7-Up sentence for each word selectd. 2. Complete math review worksheet. 3. Read with an adult and record in reading log. Thursday, September 1st, Day 3, PE 1. Parents please review and give your child a spelling pretest; words missed 3x each. 2. Complete math Lesson 2-7 Connecting Addition and Subtraction. 3. Read with an adult and record in reading log.
