New and Exciting Technology

Welcome to North Rowan Elementary School we have lots of exciting things happening with Technology at the school.  We now have 27 interactive whiteboards in the classrooms and every regular classroom teacher has a laptop.  We also have 9 sets of classroom learner response systems that teachers can check out from the Media Center and use in their classrooms.  All of the new technology will aid in engaging students in learning helping students become more global learners.

IMPACT Units

Each grade level is developing units to integrate all subjects including Media and Technology.  These units are available at the bottom of the page to download, print, altar, and use in your classroom as you see fit.

Lab Procedures

Lab times are posted in the computer labs and you can sign your class up
for a time in the notebook. Mobile labs are also available for checkout
and that notebook is also located in the lab. Please remember when you
bring your classes into the lab to sign the Computer Lab Utilization
Log. It helps the technology department and the school to know that the
lab is being utilized and how it is being utilized.
