Welcome to Mrs. Pecher's classroom website!

Mrs. Pecher is the teacher for fourth grade Science, fifth grade Social Studies, and Resource Room for the upper grades.

My Science students will finish working on the next chapter in the textbook, Chapter D1.  This has a focus on the atmosphere, air masses, and instruments used to study weather.  This chapter can be found in the book on pages D2-D29.  We will most likely test over this chapter on November 17th.

My Social Studies students will begin chapter 3 in the textbook.  This mainly focuses on Explorers.  We also will continue reading through a set of Scholastic News.   Students have been given instructions for the Native American Dwelling project.  The due date for this project is Monday, November 9th.  I wanted to allow plenty of time for students to get together in groups and complete the project with the knowledge that many have been out ill.  Also, I have told the students to use only tribes listed in chapter 2.

Special Events in November:

Today, November 7th - electronic recycling in Ballwin at the North Pointe Aquatic Center (any thing from wires to TVs -no wood)

November 12th - No school- parent/teacher conferences

November 13th - No school- Professional development day
