Physical Education

FIELD DAY is scheduled for Wednesday, June 6, 2010 :

I am in need of parent volunteers to help with Field Day. We will follow the 'traditional' format of field day as long as the weather allows. This is the same day as 8th grade graduation. Events will run from ~ 8:45 until~ 10:45. School dismissal is at 12:00.

I will send out a request via room parent, but feel free to respond directly to me as well. Thank you, in advance for your help in this event for your children. I cannot run such an event without it.

 ********

All children in grades 1 - 8 must wear a uniform for Physical Education class. Please refer to school handbook for the dress code for Physical Education.

Sneakers should provide good support & be tied properly. If a student chooses to wear the skater style shoe, the laces must be traditionally tied.

If a student has any medical concerns which would limit or prohibit them from participating in Physical Education, kindly send in an excuse from the physician.

NOTE: If a student has a medical restriction from a doctor at any point during the school year, they need to bring a medical release to me once the doctor releases him/her to participate.

If you have any medical concerns you may always e-mail me.
