We will have a weekly vocabulary quiz and the words will be on flashcards on this site. This is also an easy way to e-mail teachers. Please feel free to contact me with questions or concerns. I wish everyone a wonderful school year !!!

******* Students should begin bringing stamped,self-addressed envelopes to homeroom teachers for their final report card to be mailed at the end of the school year.Postage may go up,make sure it is a "Forever" stamp.

******** Have your novel with you for class everyday. We will be going to the media center every two weeks to return or renew books or to check out new books. You may also read books from home. Be sure to have books to read during CRCTs.

Get ready over the weekend for CRCTs:

1) get a good night's sleep on Sunday and each night thereafter
2) eat breakfast each day before school
3) bring two wooden # 2 pencils
4) relax and show all that you have worked hard to learn this year

***** No homework or quizzes this week due to CRCTs. Good week to work on your poetry project. Remember you can work on your 10 original poems at any time. Also, the two poems that you are to copy and paraphrase and the two biographies of poets would be good to work on.
