Dear Parents,
This year your child will be experiencing an approach that will help your child become accustomed to middle school. All fifth grade students will be changing classes for Reading, Math, and Science. I will be your child's main Reading teacher unless your child is in AIG. I hope that your child's transition to changing classes will be an easy one, and better prepare your child for middle school. If I can be of assistance to you and your child, please contact me. This year your child will also be learning about the 12 "powerful words". Please ask your child about these. Knowing these words will help your child succeed on the EOG at the end of the year. Thank you so much for all you do to support your child's education.
