REMINDERS:
• Easter Egg Hunt and Icecream Sundae Party is this Tuesday. Please bring in your assigned item.
• NO SCHOOL this Wednesday for Kindergarten registration. See you again on Thursday.
• NO SCHOOL this Friday (Good Friday). Enjoy your Easter holidays!
• Report Cards go home this Thursday.
• Ms. Krystle will not be at school the first 3 days we are back from the break. No Class News or homework will be going home this week.

MATH: (Chapter 9 – Measurement)
(First we are finishing up Chapter 8.)This chapter is all about measurement, weight, capacity, and estimation. Students will learn about heavier, lighter, longer, shorter, etc.

Our popcorn word of the week is (said). We will practice spelling and writing this word.

SCIENCE: Living and Nonliving
This unit we will be focusing on plants, seeds, and insects. We will begin with plants and seeds and work our way into insects. We will be planting seeds in class and watching them grow. Also, we will discuss the differences among living and nonliving things.

SHARED READING:
We will be reading big books read alouds this week focusing on Easter.

ANIMALS – Bunnies
We will be finishing up our unit on animals by reading books about the Easter Bunny.
