*We are out of snack (these are some hungry kids!), and would appreciate any donations.

*A letter with permission slip went home today with information about a field trip on March 2nd to see The Lorax with our first grade buddies.  A few important notes:  The permission slip and payment are due by February 16th, not the 17th as it says on the note.  The 17th is a no school day.  We only have tickets for three volunteer parents per class.  I will take the first three that come in.  I will contact you either way. Please let me know if you have any questions.

February 8-10=Valentine Grams on sale, $0.25 each.

February 10=Theler Wetland Field Trip**Postponed until April 13th**

February 10=PTA Sweets & Scrabble night

February 14th=Valentine Party in class.  A letter went home.

February 16th=PJ day

February 17 & 20=No school

February 21=1/2 day furlough

March 2nd=Field trip with first grade buddies to see The Lorax.  Letter with info will go home Thursday.

March 17th=Olympic College hosts a Career Conference for 5th-8th grade girls focused on Science and Math.  Information and registration forms are available in class.

 Reading= Lit. Circle assignment #4 due Friday, Feb. 10th.

Math Olympiad=For students in Math Olympiad, Olympiad Practice #27 is due on February 16th.
