Friday, November 6, 2009 Parents, Affidavits of residency must be completed this year again. Please complete and have the form notarized as soon as possible. Remember you must have documents verifying your address is within Smokey Road's attendance zone. Please remember that i f your student is absent from school, you need to send a note explaining the absence when your student returns to class. Include your student's name, the date(s) he/she was absent, the reason for the absence (doctor's note, if appropriate), your signature as the parent, along with a phone number where you can be reached.Thanks! LANGUAGE ARTS: Homework: If you have not developed enough solutions to discuss in your talk show script, you need to work on this over the weekend. On Wednesday and Thursday of next week you will be finalizing a rough draft to turn in for me to check. Bring a book every day to read in class when you complete work early.
