Homework



Due Monday:
  • Reading Log Due! 
  • Haiku Homework -
  • 1.  Choose a topic
  • 2.  Brainstorm at least 10 words
  • 3.  Write 3 Line Ones - 5 syllables
  • 4.  Write 3 Line Twos - 7 syllables
  • 5.  Write 3 Line threes - 5 syllables
  • 6.  Choose your favorite of each line to make a Haiku.  Your final Haiku should have 3 lines with the 5 - 7 - 5 syllable pattern.
  • Check Edmodo.com for assignments and to ask questions about homework.  :)

Due TUESDAY:
  • Sign and return Edmodo Code of Conduct
  • Wordly Wise 6D
  • Study for vocabulary test.  The test is Thursday.
Due WEDNESDAY:
  • Reading Log

 


 Study for your vocabulary test.  We will have our test on Thursday.  Do NOT wait until Wednesday night to study your words!

Read, Read, Read.


Each student should be reading for at least 30 minutes each night.  The nightly reading (what is ACTUALLY read) should be recorded on the reading log.  Reading every day is a PROVEN way to increase comprehension and reading abilities.
