HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

We're working hard today and getting some review from December done.

In Math, we are still working on regrouping (carrying) in 2- & 3-digit addition. We'll continue working on this skill for a few weeks.

Our new story is called Play Ball. In the story, some friends are playing baseball when one player hits the ball and breaks a neighbor's window. The kids work together to help fix the window and show their friend, Lionel, that they'll stick together no matter what.

The Spelling words for Unit 16 are words with -ar, inflected endings -ed & -ing where the silent e is dropped, and Word Wall words.
