7th Grade Updates:

Potluck Lunch on Wednesday May 6 at Lincoln Park. All students have a food item they’re responsible for. Flier went home this week. Parents warmly welcomed.

A permission slip went home to 7^th grade today for the Ballet Folklorico next week on May 7. Please return permission form with $16. Also we need drivers/chaperones. We also will be taking BART to SF.

A reminder went home to parents driving/chaperoning for “The Giver” performance organized for May 12. Let me know ASAP if there is conflict now with this.

7^th grade SPN students did amazing in the Young Author’s Faire contest. I am so proud of each of them as our class book, “The Spirit of Giving,” received an honorable mention. But Huge Kudos Go Out For A Job Really Well Done to Colleen who won a grand prize. In addition, Emmanuel, Jeil, Melanie, Aidan, and Thomas all placed with top awards in this contest. Really Great Job Done.  These students all had a vision and executed it with perfection. That takes discipline and passion. I’m so proud of everyone.

May 9^th is the award ceremony in Walnut Creek for YAF winners. Look for information coming home - -you bet I will be there! All of the 7th grade should attend.
