 We are currently reading the novel, The Outsiders. This should take about two weeks, and homework during this time will be minimal. Please make sure you are keeping up with any chapter discussion questions and your reading guide (folded booklet). If you are absent a day of reading, you may check out a novel AT THE END OF THE DAY and it must be returned AT THE BEGINNING OF THE NEXT DAY! This is vital to ensure I have enough novels for students in my classes.

Wow! We are over halfway through the book already! There will be a TEST on the first seven chapters WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 4, 2009! If you have kept up with your discussion questions and vocabulary, you are set! There will be 25 matching vocabulary words and 25 multiple-choice comprehension questions (from the discussion questions). Please study!
