Homework
Students are reading 145th Street Short Stories by Walter Dean Myers. If your child has not purchased their book yet it is important that they do so immediately. I am no longer accepting money for the books. You will have to purchase it yourself at your local Barnes and Noble or Borders bookstores. You may also order the books online at Amazon.com or BarnesandNoble.com. Students who do not have a book will not be able to participate in some of the class activities/assignments and will receive a 0 (zero) for the assignment.
