~What's Going On~

Language Arts~

 We are reading the novel Tuck Everlasting by Natalie Babbitt.  

During each week we will work on different skill centers. All centers are due the following Monday.

** Make sure to be working on your Tuck Everlasting project. Remember projects are due Friday, September 25th. **

Social Studies~

During this unit we will be studying the beginnings of our country!

Students will be working on Revolutionary web quest and learning all about the American Revolution!!!

 


Adventures In the World of Reading

This year we will be starting a brand new reading program. 5th graders will be reading in different genres!! Each quarter students will choose a novel from a different genre, read it, and create a interesting book report. (Book Report choices are listed in our classroom). 

Students will attend the Reading Reward if they have completed a 'Fabulous Fifth Grade' Book Report!!! 


1st Quarter Requirement:  

           1 Book Report ~ Due Thursday, October 29th
